When to Use Warehouse Management Features

Key Components of Warehouse Management

1. Warehouse Receipts

Warehouse Receipts (WR) are used to document commodities received into your warehouse.

How to Create a Warehouse Receipt:

  1. Navigate to the Warehousing module
  2. Click "Create Warehouse Receipt"
  3. Enter the following information:

How to Set Up Warehouse Locations:

  1. Go to Warehouse Settings
  2. Select "Manage Locations"
  3. Create a hierarchy of locations (e.g., Zone > Aisle > Rack > Shelf)
  4. Assign unique identifiers to each location

3. Inventory Management

Keep track of all commodities in your warehouse and their current status.

4. Pick and Pack

Efficiently prepare commodities for shipment with pick and pack features.

How to Create a Pick Order:

  1. Navigate to the Orders module

  4. The system will generate an optimal picking route based on item locations

5. Delivery Orders

Use Delivery Orders to release commodities from the warehouse for shipment or customer pickup.

How to Create a Delivery Order:

  1. Go to the Warehousing module
  2. Click "Create Delivery Order"
  3. Enter the following details:
